Ph. D. in Textiles, Dr B. K. Behera is Professor and HOD in the Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi.
His area of specialization includes Fabric manufacturing, 3D weaving and Braiding, Textile Structural Composites and Concretes, Mechanics of Textile Structure and Modeling and simulation of Textile structures.
Prof Behera has authored more than 230 papers and delivered more than 300 talks in various international conferences.
He has authored several books relating to Textile structural Mechanics, Soft computing in Textiles and Weaving Technology. He has seven patents to his credit.
